While she and the show generally have many loud detractors, they also have many supporters. And in Season 2 this depiction of her continued to develop and grow, so I'm not at all surprised she moved past the first round. Not sure that she'll get past this matchup with Elrond, though!
It may be worth revisiting. It was really interesting to watch how they portrayed the relationship between Sauron and Celebrimbor. It definitely had some elements of a psychological thriller, which was an interesting change of pace.
Didn't love the portrayal of Tom Bombadil though, not merry enough.
That's fair: it's how I feel about the latter Hobbit films. And no one should feel bad for not enjoying something! I personally am enjoying it, though, especially viewing it a simply a retelling of the stories (like all adaptations ultimately are).
Eowyn v. Faramir is so unfair 🤣 I was hard pressed on that one!
Looking forward to how this poll rolls out.
I know!!! I would never otherwise even dream of having to choose between them!
It was unfair!!!
Aw I wanted Bill the Pony...
How ROP Galadriel made it really boggles my mind.

To be honest I didn't make it past episode one of season two.

I just can't. It feels like content rather than art and I am not even a purist. I love the films.

I feel the same about The Hobbit films though I LOVED Smaug.
