A Goal, A Request, and Two Special Offers
I. The Goal
At the beginning of this year, I set a few personal goals for this publication.
One of them that felt like a stretch at the time—like butter scraped over too much bread—was to reach 5,000 total subscribers by the end of the calendar year. As recently as just a few weeks ago it looked like I wasn’t going to be able to reach it. Ah well, that’s what stretch goals are for, right? To motivate you and not necessarily actually get met?
But then Jokien with Tolkien was selected as a 2023 Substack Featured Publication, which led to a surge of growth. Now, the day after Thanksgiving, I’m just 40 subscribers short of my initial goal!
That’s where you come in.
II. The Request
