Absolutely loved this, Josh. Tolkien’s stories have been a comfort for me throughout my life because of the concept of “eucatastrophe”. Thank you for writing this on a day I needed to read it.

I love reading about this. Happy endings aren’t a naive myth; they are a reflection of reality. Good wins, evil loses—on that Resurrection Sunday two thousand years ago, today as the Spirit resurrects us, and into the future where Jesus reigns ❤️ happy Easter!

Yes, so wonderful to think about how this reality is woven into the past, present, and future fabric of reality itself! Happy Easter!

This was such a beautiful read! I particularly loved the line, "Truth himself has broken through from the far shores of eternity into time itself and torn the veil separating us." What greater Joy indeed. I'm going to definitely be thinking more about the "eucatastrophe" concept a lot more now.
