I'll vouch for the animated "Hobbit"- seeing it was part of my introduction to Tolkien in elementary school and I remember how vivid the animation was. (And that all-star voice actor cast!).

it was my introduction to Tolkien as well! my grandparents had all the animated movies (it was my grandmother who later gave my my first set of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings!)

I can never think of the animated Hobbit with anything other than fond memories and delight.

Can you do a gift guide for D&D, both players and DMs? Good gift guides for such are scarce nowadays

Alas, I am much more of a D&D fan than an expert, so though I see the need for something like a D&D gift guide, I wouldn't really be the best person for it I think. Unless it was a much shorter list that had no claim to being comprehensive haha
