Andy Serkis has such a malleable voice. I'm glad he's doing this. The style of narrating & the expectations of the listener have changed over the years. They used to be voices reading the books aloud. Now audiobooks are sophisticated. They are more like listening to a play than someone droning on.
My newest Tolkien Treasure I've been enjoying is my Idril pin from PookaWorks! Waiting on a necklace after the next restock, too.
I've also been eyeing this kickstarter with pins for the Valar - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/lucigianart/tolkien-valar-heraldic-devices-enamel-pin-collection-pt-1
I love both of these! Thank you for sharing: I may have to include them in future issues of this feature!
I love Andy Serkisβs narration! As an avid audiobook listener, I think heβs the best narrator Iβve ever heard.
